Good point. It's not the quality of the players. I'm not defending them - they're playing well below what most of them are capable of, but at the very least they need kicking up the a*se and made to do better.

They should have been focused on training for 6 weeks, not a nice little friendly tournament and some time in Bondi Beach.

Be interesting whether the chequebook gets firmly closed now, as an admission of the inevitable and not wanting to be saddled with more Tosuns and Walcott in the Championship.
