Revisionist history

The fans wanted Lampard among the utter dross we were linked with. Pereira would've been long gone by now

Lampard signed Onana, a guy who played big minutes for Belgium at the World Cup

Who knows if he was all in on McNeil or if that's all we could afford.

He got Coady and Tarkowski in here. Who knows where we'd be without those two. We would have single digit points that's for sure.

Perhaps Frank isn't the answer. But your characterization of who he signed is way off the mark.
Correct! Laying the blame at Frank's door is too easy! This is years of failure!

The thing is I've backed lampard all through and wanted him to succeed but I'm struggling to think of anytime when I've been more down about the quality of football, players and future of Everton. I just think this kind of result makes it inevitable, obviously there will be some on here crowing about how right they were but I'd suggest that this is not the time for bragging about being right.
Seems like some would rather be right on the internet than Everton be good. Glad they’re happy.

I don’t think Lampard has made many mistakes, many do, I disagree, that’s fine.
That five or so minute spell conceding 3 goals though was disgusting and just looked like players giving up. Professional footballers just put their heads down and gave up.

Unfortunately, as much as I think the squad is worse than the management, we can’t have a manager have that happen on their watch. If you lose the players, it’s over.

I think the FA might have just mixed up the Brighton and City match narratives they sent to Everton at the beginning of the season.

Dyche kept up worse than us year on year until he finally fell out with his new club owners and seemed to chuck in the towel. You wonder if he could rekindle a bit of the fire with us or if he is done. You'd hope he'd be capable of staying to bounce us back up if we did go down, whilst giving us a fighting chance this season.
I honestly don’t think these players have the bottle.
