After crashing in a hail storm on boxing day, excited to go teh match tonight but nervous about driving.

Very honestly, not sure Lampard survives this if this is anything but a win. A loss or tie I think you have to cut ties while you still have the opportunity and the January window.

Wish it was the Southampton game tonight. Sadly Brighton will have their 2 CM’s back. This is a horrible style match up for us. Suspect it will be one of those games where we will struggle to get any control of the ball in the first half. They will score and then take their foot off this gas second half allowing us into the game but we still won’t be good enough to score. We will then get desperate and over commit and hit us with a second on a break

Problem with the not a must-win theory is how many more opportunities we will spurn to win a game at home of this nature. We can't make Brighton out to be Madrid.

We're at home so we have to make the advantage count. I don't expect us to beat them away anymore than I would to beat say Arsenal at home.

We get only so many chances but no more or less than our rivals to go down. If we pass up on most of those chances then we will indeed be in The Championship in August. Too late for must-win then but certainly not too early for it now.

Tonight is absolutely pivotal.
