Ok, I’m ready for the insults
I think we’ve played well this half apart from Patterson getting torn apart a few times by the very talented Mitoma and McNeil breaking down multiple attacks.
We all said we need a win today and we’ve put out a positive hard pressing team.
Swap McNeil for Maupay and play a bit more through the middle and keep pressuring their back line and anything can happen.
I'm sure Frank will say the same. That will deflect any calls for his deserved sacking for sure.

I havent been able to find a way to watch this evenin; how bad is it?

Not as bad as this thread makes it out to be, but there was a period between 10 minutes in and 30 minutes in where brighton upped their game and punished us.

We need a win though, so it's obviously not great

It’s entirely possible mate, and we all hope for the same thing, but even if we pull it off we’ve started a winnable home game with a crap setup once again. We can’t keep giving beatable teams head starts while we figure things out, especially when we score so few in the first place.

Lampard is not a good manager. I don’t see it changing.
I think the set up was good tbh but Patterson got caught in no man’s land and let Mitoma in and he then did extremely well and finished

It's just crazy how much we can apply pressure in periods of games without ever really threatening their goal, mind boggling I don't know any other team like it
Its tortious! I really do not know what any Manager can do with this current crop of players. We're second best to everything and somehow hoping that a ball into the box might find DCL unmarked. Oh for the days when we had two target men like Sharpe and Gray who bossed opposition defenders/areas.
