Where is De Gea supposedly off to now? Juve is the only one I can think of that makes sense.
Yeah, it's Juve on a free transfer according to The Times.

Don't remember it but still think it's weird. Are United their rivals too because of the Cantona kung fu kick?It goes back to an FA Cup tie decades ago, when the managers fell out in quite an epic way. Malcolm Allison was one of them, cant even remember the other one. For some strange reason, its festered ever since. @Alan Whittle I am sure could provide more meat.

Brighton fan here. You are correct to say that it goes back to the Cup match, but the managers were Venables for Palace and Mullery for Brighton. They really disliked each other.... In the match Albion won a penalty which was successfully dispatched by Brian Horton, but the referee ordered it to be retaken when a palace player encroached while the penalty was taken. Mullery was upset and lost it when a Palace fan threw hot coffee over him. Bad blood ever since...It goes back to an FA Cup tie decades ago, when the managers fell out in quite an epic way.
