We don't have an out and out striker that's any good, DCL Niasse and Tuson none good enough they'd all maybe be good championship players, that's about the best I could say about them, give me Walcott over any of those any day.I wouldn't argue, it's where he has played every game since he joined and spent more of his time for arsenal/England
Hornby is injured isn't he, and if your gonna play a young striker might as well play DCL who has at least contributed a few goals this season
btw I do agree there is no need to overload the midfield with defensive types but you need an out and out striker in your home games

bernard wasnt great aganist palace (H)Exactly. People wanting Tosun to start forget how poor we were before Richarlison was moved up top.
People need to realise that until we bring a decent centre forward through the door we will be average up top regardless of who plays there.
With Richarlison up top atleast it means we have players like Bernard out wide who can create chances.

Fortress Goodison yet again for those cheeky little scamps in blue, as we face Brighton, a team we have never lost against at Home.
Pickford
Coleman mina zouma digne
Gueye
Lookman sigurdsson richarlison
Walcott Tosun
At home, lets attack teams who are going to sit deep.
you are right...given the quality of opposition in our next few away games, it is very important that we do not do an 'Everton that' in our home games.A win and takes pressure off the Chelsea game. As 4 wins in six wouldn't be bad if we did lose. Such would be good to won the next one then.
Thats a valid point.I’m all for attacking; but, with this you have Coleman, Walcott, and Lookman who all occupy the same space.
In this formation, rather you take Walcott off; move Lookman forward and slide Gomes in his place. Lookman drifts inside, and Coleman overlaps with Gomes to cover.
