Hi all, coming up with family for this game - just wondering if anyone can tell me where and what times to get the bus from the Center of town to goodison? Is there a special bus? Also the best place to get the bus back?

Do the players still arrive before the game in the car park? Taking my nephews for the first time and be nice to get some autographs!

For the autographs mate players arrive behind the park end it is barrierd off so I would recommend getting there early to get a good spec about 1oclock maybe but it is a while since my little ones wanted to go there so not 100%on the time .
As for the bus there are specials that will take you into town after game they park up by the side of Stanley park just past club shop hope you and your kids have a great time at Goodison let hope the blue boys get a win for you

Indeed...I think we'll battle to victories at Goodison up til Chrimbo (with the exception of Watford (draw) and Spurs (loss))...and comfortably lose every away game over the same period.

I agree on this but Chelsea at the Bridge is a free hit, if we can get a draw be amazing, if we lose we kind of expect it but to not make fools of ourselves and give a decent performance like at Old Trafford would be nice

Just have to beat Brighton and give the next game a good shot, however i dont want us to go there looking for a draw

I'm not saying it is all his fault, but the recent run of reasonable defensive form started the exact game that Holgate stopped playing. I wouldn't put him back in unless a serious run of injuries forced it.

4 wingers? I'd argue about Walcott on that one, either way I'd rather see those 2 up front than the current other options, maybe Hornby or Simms from the youths could be an option up top too.

I wouldn't argue, it's where he has played every game since he joined and spent more of his time for arsenal/England

Hornby is injured isn't he, and if your gonna play a young striker might as well play DCL who has at least contributed a few goals this season

btw I do agree there is no need to overload the midfield with defensive types but you need an out and out striker in your home games

Yeah I'd say I'm a holgate fan but there's been too much of a turnaround for it to be entirely coincidental.

Good back up but can stay on the bench for the time being.
