Coleman's OG was a bit of a fluke - 1pt turns into zero
DCL's Goal was a bit of a fluke...great chasing and harrying though - 1pt turns into 3pts.
Overall performance, Dycheball, 777, points deductions, etc, etc.

For me our current best midfield would contain Gomes, Garner, Onana and Gueye in some shape or form

That means Doucoure would need to dropped

I would try gueye, onana and gomes next game

I’d even contemplate maybe garner over young on the right side of midfield

It just goes to show how threadbare the squad is.
Given the injuries to Ohana etc
There was only Warrington on the bench who could play centre midfield.
Coleman and Young down the right a combined age of 72 says it all.

Dire game to watch but a vital 3 pts. The other thing is I knew we were cack but when Burnley went down to 10 men it really showed how cack we are.

True. But they are given and when they are the pundits don't question them. They just say there's contact therefore the player is entitled to go down. Therefore it's completely legitimate to ask for those pens and wonder why it is we don't get our fair share of them.

I know, but you can’t rely on gk’s mistakes for our goals.

And other teams can't rely on full backs 'chesting' the ball into their own goal but it happens.

Huge win but pretty painful to watch. Thought we were a bit lucky with the red card? Know it was a meaty tackle but was a long way away from the goal and McNeil didn't have it under control. Not that it made a difference to our tactics of course, but it probably helped keep them out.
