I've just watched the game through, and was struggling to decide on my MoM between Onana, Branthwaite and Miko, but I've gone for Miko in the end. Poor Vitinho was practically in tears when he was hauled off in the 85th minute lol . Branthwaite and Onana were very deserving but they are always going to get a lot of votes. DCL had a really good game and was unlucky not to score. Ashley Young had a good game, compared to his recent efforts and managed to not get booked for a change, and has become Everton's second oldest goal scorer ever. Walter Fielding is the oldest at 38 years 305 days when he scored on 27/09/1958 against West Brom. Beto is going to get a lot of goals for us eventually.

What is it with match officials? I couldn't help but notice that when Patterson was coming on as substitute both the linesmsn and the 4th official were holding their arms against his chest in case he put he put his big toe over the line a second too soon. Weird .

First game I didnt notice or complain about the ref. Be change that :)

Tough to call on MotM
Onana was everywhere like Garner and Onana scored
Tarkowski solid at the back +a goal and an assist
Young didn't play awful + a goal
DCL played well to make chances although his pass across to Danjuma on the break was clipped by a burnley player or Danjuma would have netted
Beto made the 3rd goal out of nothing
Myko very solid against a good winger
Branthwaite so solid!
Pickford clean sheet

Went for Onana in the end - I hope we can keep hold of him!

Anyone else get in thd match a bit late last night ? Absolutely chocker around the stadium apparently a problem with online ticketing. Congratulations to the fans for being being calm during thd situation, thought they might have delayed the kick off though.
Lots coming just after the tribute

I thought it was some staying downstairs until it was over

Really enjoyed the whole experience, wasn't expecting a night out like that at Goodison.
The last time I was there was for the Wolves match earlier in the season, the less said about that the better but that's my expectation nowadays of a trip to Goodison. A long drive home, miserable after another what might have been.
Last night was different though, the crowd were up for it, nice tribute at the start. We were on the front foot from the go and just looked good throughout, which was reflected in the result.
Worth being worn out at work today with little sleep and not helped by all of the other bad food and drink choices that make up the whole Everton match day experience. At least the team got it right on the pitch.
Pretty obvious, but Goodison is something else under the lights. What a club.
UTFT!

Dare I say it, they played….. Frank Lampard style. They kept passing the ball around nicely but as soon as they got into our half they weren’t sure whether to attack the wings or attack through the middle. It was in the end a very poor display from Burnley. However like Frank’s blues they can boast they had 70% possession, but got beat 3-0.

I liked what I saw last night expect for a few things. Danjuma, time seems to be ticking for him, he literally did nothing. McNeil being caught out all second half allowing their winger to get the ball. Harrison, to me I’m not sure what he offers.

Apart from that, Jarad, yet again was an unreal. Tarky was great, Onana was good, DCL I thought was brilliant. I just worry about keeping Braithwaite and DCL free from injury now.

But a good win, and a home draw against another average team left. He’s too beating Fulham and then getting Boro in the semi. COYB!

Thought we played well again, bloody nightmare getting in tho police haven't got a jar of glue how to organise a crowd even tho the turnstiles were playing up..chaos

You saw how tired we were today in the last 15 minutes.

If we had't used a first team against Burnley that 1 point is 3.

...as some of us predicted we can't expect to recover with 2 days recovery.

🤷‍♂️
