Their keeper had a boss game which stopped us coasting to a couple of goals without playing too ace ourselves.
Didn't think Martinez's sub's were too bad at all, just would have brought Barklid on a wee bit earlier but hey we won.

Kev was straight up the worst player out there, its no good he did two good runs across/into the box if he fails do ANYTHING with the ball when he gets there. Thought Distin had a very bad first half and credit to Stones for staying solid, but Distin did improve later on.
Barry and Macca were the absolute kings though, contributed a lot more to attack in this game than usual....even if Macca did make a Mirallas out of that chance he had.
I thought Stones was excellent today actually

My 2 cents: McCarthy was massive, McGeady looked boss, Mirallas is beyond tosh. I have to pop put now but will continue my in depth, insightful player critique on my return {yeah, yeah, I know, yous all can't wait lol}

His passing was excellent I thought. Perfect for our style of play. When he sorts out his defensive play he could be up there with Coleman as one of our best buys.
I think it already looks like he will be excellent in defense. He has some errors in him - part of the learning process, but his general defensive play is already at a decent level for his age and lack of experience at this level. Add in the fact he can pass and can stride out of defense, it seems clear we have a cracking player on our books.
Actually I would love if the bringing the ball out of defense became a big part of his game because he really drew players away from our attackers to make more space for them before laying it off.
