2-1

Coleman with the first and Eto'o the second.

Spawny one back for Palace late in the game.

That'd do me fine. Main thing I don't want is Palace scoring first. If that happens it's gonna be grim, I just know it.

I'd take a 1-0 as long as we're not hanging on for 85 minutes like times under Moyes. A lead at half time to nil. Then hold them back in the second half.

Or we could just batter them, I really have no idea on this one!

...keep remembering that we are better than Palace. I know we are Everton and take nothing for granted but we are a very decent side and I expect us to win.

We are much better than them, that's true. I never get as nervous as I used to, and I know we'll play some good stuff so I never expect a grim game any more.

We can really jump up the table with a win today, too, it'll make our start look much better than it did 2 weeks ago.

I think that's the rub with this one...it's one of those games, in one of those contexts that could really just end up at either end of the spectrum ort anywhere in between.

Such an odd game to call. But we SHOULD have too much for them.

We should...

Yep, any win will do. Not setting off from here for 3 hours yet and I'm already full of all sorts of hope and fear and general Everton matchday feelings.

If anyone travelling from south, not forget there's another match at the same time today which might add a little 'congestion' time on way up. Just saying!

Ha just looking at Villa's fixtures... Lpool (A), Arsenal (H), Chelsea (A), City (H), Everton (A).

They might well be knackered by the time they get to Goodison!!

Win this today and we can say we're on a proper run then...we have to keep it going.

They'll have bored Chelsea to death and nicked a draw at City by then...

Hope so! But then knackered for Goodison :)

Win, we must.

Rampant, we will be.

Palace under Pulis I would be nervous now - this season not so much.

I reckon we will do these cruising in second gear and if they surprise us then we just move it up a notch.

Job done.

..my benchmark was always 20 points by Christmas but nowadays 25-30 gives us something to go at in the 2nd part of the season. The reds followed by Man Utd away are our next 2 games so a win today will be very welcome.

Yeah I am way less nervous than I've been in the past. Even the Chelsea game, and even at 0-2, I still felt like we were gonna see a good game, and we did.

Second gear sounds good. We did just destroy Wolfsburg after all!

Smash these, then Swansea is an open game because Bobby taught them how to play football, then Boro to kick **** out of the RS on Weds.
