Everton simply doesn't have fast players who play quickly. Yes, there is quality there, but not enough. It is amazing how many of these bad teams look world-class when playing the Toffees. Every second half is Everton with no possession of the ball running around like chickens without a head. I used to say that Everton needs at least one or two extra players to be top 4. Now, after a season of watching this team, I say they need at least four or five players. I still believe Carlo is the right coach, but without the players, he is going to be limited.

That was a decent point considering recent home form and great to see gbamin back on the pitch. I mean if their keeper didn't have a worldy it would have been a win too. So lots of positives there. A few areas we need to improve on next season, but can't fault the players today.

We can absolutely fault the players, particularly the ones that missed 4 guilt edged chances to put the game to bed. That is why we drew 1-1 and didn’t win 4-0 deservedly.

Quality striker wins that game. Lukaku given the same chances as DCL finishes at least one. Always thought a goal was likely when Lukaku was on the ball. DCL gets its and I think “well here goes that chance.”
