The stress of this season is going to induce a stroke, Kev.
:( I posted this in the relegation thread earlier
I still think we will survive, but that is simply because both Leeds and Burnley are even worse than us.
I just want this season over.
Watching football should be fun. I can't remember the last time I watched an Everton game and actually enjoyed it free from worry. Every game sees my blood pressure through the roof and my nerves shattered.
Even the recent wins against Chelsea and Leicester (enjoyed the results, but couldn't relax and enjoy the games until the final whistle)
Even next season I doubt that I will be able to relax until we have 40 points on the board.
Hopefully we reach that as soon as possible and then I can actually enjoy watching games again.

That’s kind of the system working though. No red is going to catch 100% of everything. At least he went over and made the right decision from the screen
Oh I agree that var worked exactly as it should in that game and I would just like the same consistency in all games - how we’ve not had a number of var monitor reviews this season beggars belief.

I still don’t get how he missed it in real time tbh - it’s stonewall.

I didn’t see it tbh, but I don’t necessarily begrudge people missing things in real time. With camera angles, plus tv replays and slow motion it’s easy to forget how hard it is to see things clearly when you’re down on the pitch, and seeing it only once, at full speed and from a less than perfect angle.

Same, I have no problem with things getting missed by refs given how fast the game is played.

That is dependent so long as the system that was put in place to sort such mistakes out is used fully and fairly, which is was at the wham-city match, but hasn’t been several times in other games, especially in incidents involving Everton.

Inappropriate Language
Agree, but the two they’ve give us are up their with the worst of them mate.

Friends the fourth official ffs - it’s like let’s pick the worst set of tools and send them to Goodison. Only positive no ratwell I suppose.
There all [Poor language removed] abysmal to be honest, but Friend is without doubt the most corrupt .

We might be giving 2 lads there league debuts on Thursday night, Viera had them both on the bench yesterday, his promised them both there play before the end of the season.
He’ll wait for you’re last home game won’t he?
