Starting Gomes, for a second game in a row, is an appalling decision. There literally isn’t another player in the first team or U23, irrespective of position, I wouldn’t rather see start ahead of that utter no-mark.

I can’t take in tactics and details in these games, I just stare at our goal when it’s on screen and hope there’s no ball going towards it

It's weird to me how everyone panics about Gomes but not Doucoure who is equally incapable of doing anything that a midfielder should do on a consistent basis
