Same here, I was 16 in 95 and there was always hope we could win something again, I`m now 44 and not seen anything since and I have accepted this club will never win anything in what time I have left on this planet....

Big part of it is mentality: if Liverpool go to pens we all know it’s theirs.

We’ve had a ten point deduction and have a paper thin squad. We are not out of the woods yet and only a couple of key injuries away from the pits again. Also We’ve come close to winning one trophy in 28 years so if you are all narky over a cup exit then I think you need to get some perspective.

Yeah, that's a real salt in the wound penalty miss if ever I saw one.

A lot of neutrals would have laughed heartily at that - and they'd have been right. A flash Harry who lacked the basic professionalism and focus to become a hero. Had he missed with a serious attempt, one might have felt some sympathy - anyone can miss, after all - but it's the manner of that onanistic attempt that grates. I'd say the keeper made an idiot of Onana, but actually he did that to himself.

One of those nights missed Doucoure, played Keane good luck to Fulham hope them or Boro win the cup,

We looked flat tonight for long periods couldn't get a grip in midfield,missed Doucoure driving forward.Onana will be having nightmares about that pathetic penalty attempt so will many of us.
