Honestly I don’t get all this ‘don’t have a go at the players’. This club hasn’t won a trophy since 1995. There is now Middlesbrough. Chelsea, and either West Ham/Liverpool left, but we have gone out because of players inability to have a go during a cup game.

I would have Onana training with the kids and tell him he is completely dropped from the squad for the Spurs game. I honestly just don’t think there is room for that in a club which expects fight and nobody showing off. That penalty was a disgrace.
Onana had a poor game besides his penalty miss, still goes missing and another casual game to match his very casual penalty.

Agree kind sir.

Sadly the club is happy with the odd quarter final ere and there as are many fans.

Onana deserves docking a weeks pay packet and dropping to the bench. Wouldn't have been allowed to happen under greats like Sir Alex, Mourinho and Moyes.

It's changed my view of the upcoming 2 tough games. Beforehand thought we had a good chance of getting a result v Spurs, and, dare I say the cliche, could have been a decent time to play a below top level Man City.

Going to be a huge test of character at the weekend, let alone keeping energy levels up.

It was one of the worst displays of refereeing I can recall seeing in person, that's for sure.

Two players yellow carded for contesting headers. Bernd Leno taking what felt like a week to spot the ball for goal kicks. Allowing Fulham players to kill the momentum by staying down for minutes at a time. He had no control on that game whatsoever.

We were rubbish. Looked tired, unbalanced and devoid of ideas. Amadou's penalty was a shocker and he'll learn from it. Happy that this performance came in the clown cup not the league, let's hope it doesn't knock their confidence too much.
I am one for never hardly saying a thing about refs when us, but how he let Fulham, get away with time wasting from goal kicks, Throws etc, I have no clue. And how the heck he booked Patterson for a head clash for me went above beyond stupidity

Spot on word for word mate.

Disgracful referee, from minute one to the pens.

Would have liked to see us be a little more attacking from dyche - Beto, dobbin and danjuma from the off, give some legs a rest in what was an already unbalanced side.

One of those games where it could have gone either way, just needed a decent fifth penalty.
Despite what Dyche says, the players do look tired, unsurprisingly. Intensity of press was not there. Hopefully, Spurs are in the same boat, with their injuries.
I see some people are saying we won't have a similar chance in the EFL cup for a while...but this is our third quarterfinal in 5 or so years.

A sad night but hardly the end of the world.

We have just won four Premier League in a row without conceding a single goal.

To draw against Fulham at home is not acceptable for a club of Everton's size, but frankly we would have lost against them a few months. Im fact... we DID lose to them a few months ago!

Fulham are no pushovers; they beat West Ham 5-0 the other week.

The priority for the next couple of seasons is defying the corrupt PL and staying up. That's it. Then hopefully we can push on from there when we have the new stadium.

The players gave their absolute all tonight. Silly behaviour from Onana, but he is only a young lad.

The time wasting and slowing down of the game was a very clear tactic. Very frustrating!
