Spot on. And by doing so, negated our only player with thrust up top and our only midfielder capable of being a runner - which if you play an Xmas tree system, you have to have 2-3 runners.

Coleman shouldn't start games. He's useful to bring on. That's it.

You can't play Gylfi and James in the same position on the pitch, not when Gomes is behind them.

He's cost us tonight, and the players aren't good enough for him to mess about like that.

Agree with all of that really.

I know the players will be slaughtered, but he saw what happened a few weeks earlier against Newcastle. The players are what they are, and what we tried to do tonight is probably beyond them.

That's awful, and it's not Carlos fault, but we have to react to what we have, not what we would want to have.

I love Coleman, but he is finished. He was shocking v Newcastle and again tonight.

We haven't been dreadful at all.

Leicester away was an excellent performance. the first half v Arsenal we played some very good stuff. First half v Fulham too. The Leeds away game, the Wolves away game.

Completely revisionist statement from yourself there.

It's just when we're bad, we're very, very bad, and when we have our good spells, we don't create enough clear chances to put games to bed and get us out of sight before the issues creep in again.

Leicester away we counter attacked twice and just sat back. We were clinical.

Arsenal at home was an awful game.

First half Fulham was good but 2nd half atrocious and as bad as today and just scraped through.

Leeds away we were decent first half. 2nd half pitiful and again scraped by.

Wolves away see Leicester away.

I mean I don’t mind so much nicking games away but away games aren’t the same this year. When we win we have to hang on to do so.

Before that game the guys in the studio basically apologised in advance for the dire game Spurs and Everton were about to serve up. Then Spurs decided to go gung hi and leave us all manner of space, resulting in a very entertaining game. We have served up some dire stuff this season, but there are enough glimpses to say that with 3 or 4 new players Ancelotti can improve it.
I want us to win games. When we do the basics well, we're a decent team.

But Carlo did everything wrong tonight, and it set the tone.

Because we aren't good enough. We need to get better.

Our players aren't great. They're mentally fragile.

But today, our manager made massive mistakes and didn't rectify them.

Yep

He Needs to play the back four of Godfrey kean Mina digne OR holgate kean Mina Godfrey every game. At least keeps us solid and a threat at set pieces

Think Coleman started v West Ham/Newcastle and tonight and we were dreadful in all three - been a great servant but he’s finished here.

Keep the same formation with James or Sigurdsson behind DCL - then rotate Iwobi/king/richarlison/Bernard etc ...god this management lark is easy!haha.

That’s bollocks though. Against Wolves we had 2 good attacks, the rest of the game we were sat in our own box, against Leicester we had about 20% possession both games, the Leeds away game we good for about 20-30 mins and got battered in the second half, and against Fulham we were good for a half, today we’ve been battered by them. If you were a neutral would you ever watch us? We play the ugliest brand of football in the league right now, and that is a fact.
That’s not a fact
