I wouldn’t have started him either, but our illustrious board has made sure he hasn’t got many other options.
That would be two boards Phil… the allegedly ‘revered’ lot who finally buggered off except their leader… and the new interim bunch who have carried on in much the same vein as the previous useless bunch… with the same inane, narcissistic leader.

It’s not all doom and gloom, this might be a contradicting message. We actually played well, but the same problems are evident no goal scoring ability across the squad, thankfully we made chances. the silly mistakes will never go away. The mentality of players like keane still making the squad. We need to make changes that are glaring, we’re all annoyed because we should have scored and won. But because we can’t, it takes 1 chance to beat us. But overall the play was good and I’m confidant without Maupay and keane in the team

Anyone with half a brain cell can see what our issue is. It doesn't matter about our defence, we had enough chances to score, if we had a half decent striker we would have won by 2 or 3. For some reason, the gormless idiots who run Everton, think we dont need to score goals. Lukaku covered up many of our flaws, I remember him scoring when City outplayed us all day, left with a point. It's been the same, nonsense since Lukaku left, we have had 6 years to replace him. Pointless talking about other areas of our team, when up fronts our issue. Maupay missed a sitter on his debut against Liverpool, he hasn't got any better. Possibly our worst player ever.

I hate to say it, we’re all talking about a striker needing to score. We need midfielders that can score too. We need a team that is dangerous all around
