Thought Richarlison came into his own when Tosun was on, to have that movement upfront. He’s more dynamic with a proper centre forward creating space as opposed to DCL who in all honesty is not a premier league footballer.
Not yet. Hes young and needs games before being written off. Needs to be on loan either in the champ or somewhere a low premiership team. Newcastle would be good for him.

The ages of the starting eleven in brackets:

GK: Pickford (24)

RB: Kenny (21)

LB: Digne (25)

CB: Keane (25)

CB: Zouma (23)

DM: Gueye (28)

AM: Sigurdsson (28)

AM: Davies (20)

RW: Walcott (29)

LW: Richarlison (20)

ST: Calvert-Lewin (21)

Great to see our young group of players stepping up today. Keep the core of these youngsters together for the next few years and see what we can achieve. Proud to be Blue today.

Much needed confidence boost for the players. Just get the feeling they have been bottling it more and more this season. Evidenced by the penalty miss and the poor, indecisiveness of many on the pitch in this and previous games.
The return of Richarlison and Kean made a difference, and helped us squeeze out what ended up being a three goal win, but not a comfortable one.
We need to build on this, and sort out the shortcomings.

We were two nil up and the game was in the bag by 70 minutes.

Nothing wrong with wearing a team down and putting the game beyond them in the second half.

That second half performance was brilliant overall. Can't complain. One mistake when we got caught high upfield and Pickford had to come out. A few sloppy passes from Davies and Gana as well.

Gylfi's pen was poor - although an inch lower and it's in - but he responded, as they all did. They didn't let their heads go down which is what they usually do!

First half we looked cagey. Started well but quickly became predictable and Fulham played well. They're a good footballing side. I hate how a chunk of our fans (always the same ones) on here act like we're the only team who are playing. We got lucky when Sessegnon hit the bar and made sure to make that luck count.

Did you watch the game? We were very average until we missed the pen and it kicked us up the arse.

We controlled the game from the start of the second half onwards.

That pen was reward for at least a few positive signs, and then after that you're right that we clicked up a gear.

Got lucky when they hit the bar but it's about time. They played well in the first half and are a good footballing side.
