Well done blues. First half performance had pace, pressing and passion in abundance. A long time since we’ve seen that at goodison.
Lots of contenders for motm.
Keane - solid
Kenny - in an unfamiliar role.
DVDB - showed class on his debut.
Gordon - the lad continues to excite us all.
Richarlison- workrate and a royal pest to their defence.
But it might not happen again. I’ll give to Iwobi. Lad ran his socks into the ground. Involved throughout. Showed commitment I didn’t think he had.

I'm struggling to pick a MOM. VdB was everything I hoped he'd be. Holgate was very good, as was Keane. Coleman was great at both ends of the pitch. Kenny was awesome and whole hearted. Allan was excellent. I'm going for Iwobi for his unceasing willingness to close Leeds down at every opportunity and his determination to take the ball off them and simply neutralise any structure they attempted to build. Clean slate for the lad and hopefully Frank can continue to get the best from him.

I was having tea at my gf's last night, and I was venting at her brother and dad about Iwobi and Coleman (respectively useless and past-it)..... maybe they had mics set up. Easily the two best players on the pitch today.

Maybe Iwobi thought Leeds were Wolves in disguise?

Blue boys were absolutely magnificent today, to a man. Defensively far more solid than I’ve seen for months. Iwobi mom, I don’t think I’d ever seen him so determined and strong as he was today, new start for him and hopefully felt the love of the fans today.
Agreed mate. Having a manager that understands football and isn't all about himself is a huge step forward.?

It is a good feeling to be happy with football, long may it continue.
