I’ve gone for Gordon, because he seemed to have a hand in almost everything we done well. Plus you could see how made up he was sat on the bench knowing he’d contributed to an excellent win.
But I could’ve easily picked about 4/5 players today who would deserve it.

fabulous performance - fabulous result! All credit to the makeshift defence for a clean sheet. VDB and Allan were Ecellent - Gordon and Iwobi played out of their skins. Dele looked class adn even Rondon looked better... Thank god! I am exhausted after this week.

Iwobi was very good, just frustrating that a few times he insisted on shooting instead of laying it off but he played very well.

Van de Beek MOTM for me. Added composure and energy in midfield.

That was a captains performance from Seamus today. I will be honest I didn’t think he had anymore performances like that in him anymore.

His reaction to his goal said it all.
