They did nothing though. Two wonderful efforts but both are stil off target from distance.

Defensively team were veyr, very good. BUt defence was starting higher up, not just with tyhe back four or five.
Ah don't disagree but the OP was making the point that Leeds didn't have a shot on target, which is technically correct but should be considered I context.

They didn't. The posts dont count.

Wonderful display from us that all they've got was two decent efforst that hit the woodwork.

Absolutely superb....

Everyone was superb today, I thought Allan and DVB were quality. Iwobi was decent, a bit rusty in parts but looked to make things happen.

Deles ball for Rondon was sweet, any other striker I think thats a goal...

I`m just rambling really, had a drink. Made up and releases a bit of pressure on us, really think Lampard will be the new Moyes for Everton but with a higher ceiling....

Going to get bladdered happy as a pig in ............ buzzing, Goodison was awesome

Biggest thing for me, and I say this from watching it on the box rather than my seat in the glwadys, is how well we dealt with any pressing and pressure, VDB was instrumental in ticking the ball around and always being available as a spare man. Credit to the attacking players, the runners, they more than kept leeds honest and most of the time on the back foot - best form of defence is attack and all that malarky.

Well, today got off to a terrible start as I was rushed to hospital at 5AM... while waiting on test results etc, I thought how a bad (fitba) result today would really put the tin lid on things (I know, I really need to sort my priorities). Have since been discharged and was dreading checking the score, but I can't say how relieved I am tonight - on more than one front. Looking forward to MotD, for once. UTFT!

Indeed. Before, any attempt at clever pressing or attack, we lose the ball and get punched in the face. Now we had Donny mop up anything that got away, or any threat going to advantage Leeds. I saw him make only one missed pass and that was late in the 2nd half. He was very, very good and exactly what we needed.
