Yes, but no.
We have to play the - and win the game infront of us.
Worry about the next game and the rest of them on Sunday.
I'm saying that we need to, for example, put DCL at centre forward for the rest of the season because he's our best striker. If he's not fit pick the next best centre forward, not Richarlison who isn't a centre forward.

Identify our best available player for each position and play him there, not in other positions. No CB's at fullback.

Those out injured will come back in their best position if they are seen to be better than those who have been in their place.

There will be horses for courses selections but we trust our manager to make those decisions.

It's because if you go on his PL stats page it defaults to all seasons (i.e. since he joined), where he does have 10 yellow cards.
Whoever came out with the 10 yellow cards thing didn't read it properly.

Ah ok, that makes sense.

He had a pretty terrible game at Newcastle, but we don't have any other options. Last thing we need is midfield suspensions, or any suspensions really.

One day one of these managers is going to get it right , I'd like to think it's now , Frank has brought a decent team with him and it should start bearing fruit in the not too far future . I'm looking forward to next season but for now I hope he gets us going in time to survive , I have faith .

Can't play Gomes and Allan together, Leeds love a fast counter attack and one of them would be sent off within half an hour.

Need a midfield 3 for this one, don't think 3 centre backs would do us any favour against these - especially with our 2 best centre backs being injured.

I'd like to see us start with Mykolenko and Patterson as our full backs. Leeds give up the ball a lot on the wings, despite the talent they have there, and I think we'd have a lot of luck with the new lads overlapping Richy and Gordon with DCL waiting in the box.

This HAS to be 3 points for us.

I noticed they didn't track Ramsey very well last night he scored and was dangerous. Maybe a midfield of Allan, DVB, with Alli pushing on a bit could work.

we are in trouble, we need to play a few games in a more pragmatic manner, play percentages and look at getting the ball forward quicker (and well away from our timid defence), forget playing it around and trying to move the opposition about, get it up quick and get men up quick to turn their defence around. We don't have the luxury to find our style, it needs to get ugly to thug some points
But isn't that what Benitez was attempting? And we didn't do it very well post October we got no results. Our team with what we have fit especially at home is only going to win games by attacking is my opinion.

yes, but who in their right mind would select Rondon and Iwobi to try and do this? Both are dreadful. Benitez was dreadful. He also sold one of our better players after having a fallout with them just before getting the boot himself, putting us in even more mire.
