Arsenal was a free hit, everyone expected us to lose Dyche’s first two games - expected wins are where we tend to screw it up.

I believe Dyche will mentally prepare our players better for these games, I really hope I’m right.
Yeah I'm not worried, until Dyche gives us a reason to worry about him.
There was a bit of negativity after Monday, but I fully expect a better 6 pointer result then we seen under Frank

We didn’t play any good football but the only differences between the anfield performance and arsenal game were
1. Tarkowski hit the post rather than scored and they countered
2. Simms wasn’t as good at holding it up as Dom
3. We gave away a counter for their second goal
4. Tarkowski forgot how to pass a football
5. We didn’t get midfielders up next to the striker at all in the first half

I agreed with Dyche in the press conference, we weren’t far away from a result and missed by fine margins. It wouldn’t have been pretty but RS heads would’ve gone if Tarkowski had scored and then later on if Davies took his chance anything could’ve happened in that final 15.

wouldn't rule out forest yet

-20 gd

14th with 24 points, only 6 points above us with the following fixtures to come for them

Man City (H)
West Ham (A)
Everton (H)
Spurs (A)
Newcastle (H)
Wolves (H)
Villa (A)
Man Utd (H)
Liverpool (A)
Brighton (H)
Brentford (A)

arguably their most winnable games in that run will be us and wolves at home

Wolves have turned a corner under their new manager and look a difficult side to beat and we look a difficult side to beat under Dyche now

for me Forest v Everton could be an even bigger match

would not be suprised to see Forest go on a bad run in their next 10+ games
Yeah, really hoping to see a nice free-flowing city going full out on there GD tomorrow.
We definitely need Forest properly sucked back into this.

( I fully expect I've now cursed cursed us though )

Bamford is crap but I’d have him up front ahead of what our options are. The thing about Leeds is they are fast and furious, and keep chasing and pressing. The shower currently wearing royal blue don’t. No way we win this game.
Bamford is trying to get up to speed. He ain't bad for £ 7million,very clever player, but a his goals tend to come in batches. If we play like we did last season under Bielsa we will be stuffed. Summerville is going to be the quickest player on the pitch. Not having a manager in place is a disgrace, but we played well.in both Manu games,Skoobs could be the man. Looking forward to a great game.

Both there goals were complete gifts, Pickford And Coady meltdowns !!!

As for 'if Davies took his chance' I think the whole meaning of the word 'chance' is lost once Davies is the player on the end of it..
It looked more like the ball headed Davies then the other way round. It was like watching someone run in to a Lamppost....

Desperately need to win this. I am going attacking I've read Leeds play more on the wings than through the middle so not sure we need a three man midfield again. And we need goals so.

Pickford
Coleman
Mina
Tarks
Godfrey

Iwobi
Gana
Onana
Mcneil

Gray

Simms

My fear is the transitions Leeds have pace we have to have intensity to nip those. They have been our achilles heel. We have to keep them under pressure

Tomorrow is as important as it gets in terms of a single game. Can this team replicate the form of Arsenal or will they continue down the road of ineptitude and incompetence. Lose tomorrow and, while I fully accept there is an awful long way to go, it will be very difficult to save ourselves, even with a win it will still be difficult.
I think we will win 1-0, can’t see us getting 2 goals in the one game so if Leeds score the best we can hope for is a draw. Playing without a forward line makes life very difficult. All down to the Board.
This is my fear can our team rise to a big game? They did Arsenal but the pressure wasn't as on and as we have seen against the teams around us that sit in they pick us off when they realise we lack threat I guess Leeds arena bit different though they have a go and on the other side we have the crowd. But they have to set the tone. I am very fearful as Leeds are dangerous. Big game need a Arsenal like performance again to win.
