This game scares me the most, realistically the 3rd spot will be us or Leeds. If we lose to Leeds they have Southampton at home next whereas we are away to Arsenal. So you can see how this could go.....

Just cant shake this feeling this year, we just cant seem to get out of it, the culmination of nearly a decade of mismanagement.

I want to be positive but this club is just soul destroying, the win v Arsenal gave us hope and then the cowardly display v Liverpool. I can accept not being us good as them but I cant accept not fighting for every point, we just gave up!

Leeds will press high and we don`t generally cope with these sides, we need to see more of the Arsenal than RS BUT without Dom out what have we got at the top end of the pitch? Thats our downfall and ultimately the clubs failure to address that will see us go down, and I think we will this season. With how the fixtures pan out there is little chance we will put a decent run together, Lampard made sure the winnable games are all gone.
Our next game after this is Villa at home, not Arsenal away.

We have Villa next don’t we?

But agree a massive game. 6 points from next two would be enormous.

The only way we're going to score is from a set piece. For me Gray has to start, surprised he hasn't considering he suits playing on the counter, Dyche must not like his work tracking back.

I'd put Godfrey in purely because of his tenacity and go 442

Pickford
Godfrey Mins Tarkovski Mykolenko
Iwobi Onana Gana McNeil
Gray Simms(Maupay)

We need 3 points so one up top isn't the answer ... although that team still looks short of goals ☹️

I wouldn't be surprised to see Godfrey at rb to counter Gnonto's pace.

But he'll probably just keep Coleman in and have Iwobi doubling up.

Gray has to play, don't care where. The only pace we have.

wouldn't rule out forest yet

-20 gd

14th with 24 points, only 6 points above us with the following fixtures to come for them

Man City (H)
West Ham (A)
Everton (H)
Spurs (A)
Newcastle (H)
Wolves (H)
Villa (A)
Man Utd (H)
Liverpool (A)
Brighton (H)
Brentford (A)

arguably their most winnable games in that run will be us and wolves at home

Wolves have turned a corner under their new manager and look a difficult side to beat and we look a difficult side to beat under Dyche now

for me Forest v Everton could be an even bigger match

would not be suprised to see Forest go on a bad run in their next 10+ games

Sporting Life focusing on the disciplinary side.... but at least they think we will win...

Everton v Leeds

Jake Osgathorpe (@JAKEOZZ)

This is what is known in the industry as a 'relegation six-pointer'.

Everton and Leeds sit 18th and 17th respectively with just one point separating them, meaning this game is huge not only to get three points for yourself, but to land a blow to a rival.

The Toffees have put in a good and a bad performance under Sean Dyche so far, while Leeds remain managerless and have issues away from home, so avoiding the main markets seems smart here.

Instead, given the gravity and importance of the game, the likely raucous crowd at Goodison Park and the disciplinary records of both sides, heading down the cards avenue makes sense.

We are taking BOTH TEAMS 2+ CARDS here at a best price of 27/20.

Everton have received an average of 2.23 cards per game this season, with Leeds slightly more at 2.32. Away from home, Leeds' average jumps up to 2.55 cards per game.

The Toffees have collected 2+ cards in 68% of league games this season, with Leeds hitting 2+ in 77% of matches, while both sides have drawn 2+ cards from their opponents in 64% of contests.

The man in the middle is Andy Madley, and while he can be hit and miss, he has averaged 3.4 cards per game in the Premier League this season.

In his last five league games he has flashed card totals of 1, 6, 3, 9 and 7, so is more than capable of laying down the law in a game with a lot riding on it and one that features two good teams for cards.

Score prediction: Everton 2-1 Leeds (Sky Bet odds: 8/1)

This is a pretty big game. These sides sit 18th and 19th respectively with just one point separating them, so this is a proper relegation six-pointer.

Everton were poor at Anfield on Monday, but were excellent in their only home game so far under Sean Dyche against Arsenal (xG: EVE 1.91 - 0.76 ARS). How much we can read into that one performance remains to be seen.

Leeds are still managerless, but did win the xG battle against Manchester United last weekend, though they still conceded plenty of chances.

Away from home, the Whites have shipped 1.77 xGA per game, suggesting the Toffees could get some joy, and a narrow home win is predicted.
