A lot of people getting in a flap over Timmy (the US Secretary of Defence). I agree he occasionally has his moments, but Bobby has clearly stated he is our No1 keeper.

Howard is a liability, but he's on a team that can't score, so fuming over him a lot of the time is misplaced. Today it's deserved, but the same applies, it's not like Stones, probably the sacred cow here, had no fault in it (and most everyone else). Howard is simply a bad performer on a bad performing team.

[Qthroggyted, post: 3374485, member: 11130"]Very, very disappointing eh? We do a lot of good work in midfield but really lack quality upfront; Lukaku puts a lot of work in but not technically good enough to be our main striker, a supporting striker at best, or maybe we should offload him to a 'bigger' team. Our league position reflects exactly where we should be, we are no better than a mid table team this season, far too many easy points squandered on top of the two today. It's all a bit of a surprise to me because we actually have a decent squad imo, I think we just need a bit of real quality injected into one or two positions to be vying for top 6 again, but I guess it's all down to lack of funds.

Never mind though, I heard through the grapevine recently that Kenwright has three potential buyers talking to him.....[/QUOTE]

but we scored 2!

that was enough to win this game, you can not defend him, nobody in the world can defend him today. stones was a rock with robles in goal, now he looks nervy.

Gibson was spreading the ball about though pulling Leicester around the pitch opening up the space for others. The way he was playing incisive passes to the wings was reminiscent of how Utd used to unlock teams under Ferguson.
atsu and lennon were the ones pulling leicester players out of position, not gibson.

Wasn't unhappy with certain aspects of that performance. Thought that the result coloured the way we played in that second half.
Coleman looked much more like his old self thanks to his link up with Lennon.
Gibson and Atsu's early substitution was when it needed to be. Atsu showed good movement and created space for us. Much improved showing from him.
Gibson came on and controlled the game. Showed great vision on the ball and created opportunities and space for players with incisive forward passing.
On another day could have been 3/4/5-0.
Howard was atrocious. He has cost us plenty of points this season and continued in that vein today. Should have held both of those balls into the box and was directly at fault for both goals. If he can't hold the second one, tip it over the bar instead of to their striker behind him. Rather concede a corner than have a scrappy ball inside the box.
Lukaku let himself down with his finishing. Should have had a hat-trick. Positive hold up play with his assist and his ball control and hold up has improved considerably since the beginning of the season.
Can only blame Martinez for the reselection of Howard. Felt his subs brought change and made us tick and a better side as a result. Created chances and should have taken them.

Key to the tactics we use working is players moving off players and making runs, which allows us to play through their midfield quicker and as such create space and opportunities to score. Saw a bit more of that today, but urgency is still an issue.

I watched Leicester play Arsenal recently and I can assure you all that Arsenal was lucky to get all 3 points. Leicester are no mugs and will cause problems for many teams in the run in to season's close. I am not unhappy with grabbing a point off them.

We are everton we should be hammering these.
Can't see why you are happy with a point at home to the worst side in the league
