Howard is a liability, but he's on a team that can't score, so fuming over him a lot of the time is misplaced. Today it's deserved, but the same applies, it's not like Stones, probably the sacred cow here, had no fault in it (and most everyone else). Howard is simply a bad performer on a bad performing team.

The errors Stones made today reminded me of the sort of thing a 20 year old would do.

The errors Howard made today didn't remind me of a 35 year old veteran with 15 years more experience to his name.

Could be right except after today hard to see where 3 wins will come from.
Any type of Prem win is looking a stretch at the moment, and given how we struggled today, who will it come against?Hate to say this but you can put your mortgage on it not being at Arsenal. If we can't do it against the bottom side at home..........

Howard is totally to be blamed, if we has De Gea, we of won, Courtino,Hart, Forster even the RS keeper instead we have Taliban Tim who keeps standing on his own ieds. We are in the bottom half because of Tim. He's [Poor language removed] and always has been

Lukaku. It happens.
Naismith is crap. Like honestly our worst footballer.
Howard. But this is so normal it's almost not worth noting.
We didn't win[/QUOTE]

Always makes me smile when I see someone slag this guy. Works his 4ss off every game and take away hid goal-scoring contribution this season -and we'd be up to our necks in the sh1te. Not just our waists.

Doubles of bleach please to relieve the depression.

We've Leart a lot today 1- McCarthy and besic doesn't work (that's what many were wishing for but they have no attacking instinct ) ,2-Baines is no better probably worse than the other 2 LBs 3-Lukaku yes he scored with a bit of luck but he never gets subbed however rubbish he is,4-Gibson holds on to the ball and picks out players, no one else can at the club can seem to do that and he is class when fit,5-Missed Barry 6-Atsu looks like he could be half decent,6-we already new this Howard should be dropped,he's lost it.
McCarthy and Besic would work with two wingers.

Man City play with two holding midfielders.

but we scored 2!

that was enough to win this game, you can not defend him, nobody in the world can defend him today. stones was a rock with robles in goal, now he looks nervy.

Today yes, hence me calling him a liability.

But blaming Howard for Stones is beyond the pale for me. Moreover, we have an ineffective striker, bizarre and incomprehensible management, lack of creativity, lack of service etc. Underperforming across the side and that lands in the lap of Roberto.

......it's the other things as well, he got his head to a couple of their corners when they were a real threat. I bet his team mates love him to bits.

We scored TWO - he is dog crap open your eyes he makes a good defence look like a bag of nerves in so many ways - TH cost us today end off!

Now that we are moving safely away from a relegation dogfight, I would like to see us really attack teams like West Ham, Stoke and Newcastle. I am still hoping for a top 10 finish (and winning the EL)
