I seen a post which said"this was a big point for us". It isn't a big point it is an absolute disgrace. I urge everyone on this site whether you are a Martinez supporter or whether you back any particular player or group of players to sit for five minutes and reflect on what is happening to Everton Football Club, how is scraping a home point against the league's bottom team a Big point.
I don't think this is acceptable for a team packed with international players plus players of such potential. We can't go on like this just hope everything will be alright. It is absolute folly to know something is wrong and just keep repeating the mistakes in the belief that it will fix itself. I don't care that much whose fault it is, I want someone to try and fix it. How do we attempt to sort out our problems, we can't buy five players who will come in and get everyone else playing. We can get in a manager who will get the players we have playing. What we need now is a manager to manage the situation we find ourselves in at this moment. I don't mind if it is a short term fix provided we go looking for a good young manager with a long term view. Martinez has not worked, but I think we should go out and get an old head to work as a sort of mentor, to take some of the pressure off. That would be my suggestion for now.
But please do something, don't just fade into the championship or become a club happy to take the premiership money and now compete.

Those who are claiming Leicester "parked the bus" are deluded: they attacked with pace, and when they lost the ball, our defence/midfield took so long passing between themselves, the opposition had made their way back into a defensive formation. Teams really have Sussed Robbie out this season

I will take my chances!!!!

Personally, I don't think we've been that lethargic this season...we've just failed at trying to manage a season by pacing ourselves on the pitch. If you can control the ball it would work, in theory. But this isn't Serie A.
I don't know. I'm one of Barkley's biggest supporters but he's definitely a player that waits until the ball comes near him before he wakens up. I'm not sure if it's lethargy or just not knowing where he should be running that is the problem but it's definitely a problem.

On the ball he's good but he doesn't get on the ball enough.

-- Although doesn't help with Naismith constantly running into his area and running in front of him to take the ball then never passing to him.

I just want to see a run of games this season without Naismith in the team to see if that's the problem because if it isn't Barkley isn't the player we hope and thought he would be.

Howard And Barkley has to be dropped. A must win evaporated. Time for a mass overhaul in tactics especially at home.
Time for action is now. Hurt feelings be damned we are in dogfight six from bottom. Worst team in the league holds us. I feel sorry for all fans at the moment.

Note to Martinez first half was utter rubbish. Please get things moving.

Darron Gibson was a godsend at least he knows how to pass to a blue shirt. I am so despondent how we play at the moment I believe our under eighteens would have given the Foxes a tougher test.
There was a lot of empty seats. I know it was rubbish weather but the fans are losing interest.

Said it before ... Need to give garbutt some game tine coz as much as Howard was to blame for both goals baines also played a part .. Looks tired and garbutt raring to go ... Atsu positive and lennon plus coleman on the way back. Roberto needs to have a good look at today and act accordingly

this again showed that theres no easy game in PL.
personally i think we had a bit of a swiss hangover. very important point in that respect.

dropped two but salvaged one. not a end of the world. onwards upwards ebutom.

lower midtable is acceptable this season
...all about europa now...and we're boss there.
bring on thursday and £350,000 sweetener

i hope to holy Jehoshaphat you are kidding!!!!!!!!!!!!!

even with all the misses we would still have won 2-0. they haven't had a meaningful shot on target all game

That might well be the case, but Howard was put under pressure in the first place by losing the ball in midfield. Yes, he made mistakes, i just get annoyed when people easily forget all the other points we would have lost over recent seasons, including this, had it not been for immense work by Howard. It seems the memory of the Chelsea game has already been lost, a game in which he made one great save after another and was not at fault for the goal. A goalkeeper makes a mistake: he gets a ton of flak; a striker makes a mistake and it is much more likely to be overlooked. A goalkeeper does most things right in a game but makes a mistake that costs the team points: he is derided; a striker makes one mistake after another in a game but scores the winning goal and he is lauded.

I think the players have given up on the Premier League. They know that Europe is the only thing they sti have left fighting for, and honestly don't give a crap about the league. Next week we need to play our all vs ARS and grind out a point- because we've won against YB already.
Honestly that's what I've thought after the first Hull game.
