The booing of the Besic substitution really cheesed me off yesterday. There was a lot of negativity in the stands from the first whistle, which is understandable considering how we're playing but not useful at all. Booing the sub though I thought was ridiculous. Don't get me wrong I like Besic but I thought he was only ok yesterday, certainly not so good that he didn't deserve to go off. Most people around me were shouting out for us to bring a winger on and when we do they all boo. Just don't understand that at all and seemed to just be a load of extra needless negativity.

Biggest surprise for me yesterday was Ross Barkley! Thought he was really disappointing. Is he just in a poor run of form or was all the hype a bit premature? Hope it's the former

He's not got that experience yet mate, he'll come good though I'm sure. He just needs the maturity and awareness and he'll be a top player, can see him playing a deeper role for us from next season.

To be fair Dave, Leicester didn't sit back yesterday...they were on the front foot from the getgo and in the closing stages they were doing the most pressing, forcing two corners in injury time.
They countered three or four times in the first half and set up with five in defence most of the time.

File Leicester in the box marked "another small time club set up not to lose and stop Everton playing".

Its been like that all season mate, I can understand it now, but as I say, its been the same since August, well probably the last few years if im honest.

No singing, only whine, whine, whine, for 90minutes, I dont get it personally.

It was easier for Leicester to play yesterday. They defended well and in numbers and were dangerous on the break.
Unfortunately for all the possession we had we did not stretch them enough and on top of all that Lukaku had a nightmare.

Next week we go to Arsenal and to a degree we will be a bit like Leicester yesterday. Expectations will be lower , the pressure less, we will set up defensively solid and play on the break....at least I think that is what will happen.

Nope....they weren't countering.....they were attacking and the reason they were able to pack their defence when we were attacking in the first half was because our attacks were so ponderous me and you woukd have had time to get back behind the ball :(

I think we will do well at Arsenal.

For the reasons you mention.

They were counter attacks mate. Take a look at the stats in terms of possession for periods of that first half. They were ridiculous.
