...what surprises me is that folk are surprised. We struggle to score, we struggle to create so it was always going to be a tight game. It does amaze me how some post forecasts of 3-0 or 4-0 even if we did get 3 against Soton.

Please treat this as a reality check. The top teams have quality in the top third, we don't. We accumulate points but we are always just as likely to get turned over because our games are tight.

Meh.

Cup runs without winning it just mask a turd season(see 15/16). This team doesn't have the consistency to win a cup as it can't even manage back to back league wins.

We need a complete overhaul of the squad before we can compete for anything. Our depth is laughable.

Until we fix this we will struggle to win any trophy regardless of how good our first team is. WING is the only position besides GK that I can say is truly crap, but we don't have someone to replace Gueye with all the injuries.
