Hardly. We played orthodox 4-4-2. Coleman was right midfield. Holgate was RB. Don't know where you get your Holgate at left wing back from!
Taking Holgate off was logical since Coleman was getting nowhere at wide right so had to be moved back to his natural position at RB.

Not in my eyes!

Holgate played on the right side of midfield in the first half - right in front of me. Coleman floated sometimes inside Holgate and sometimes in front of him, and made a good contribution to the first half.

But it was logical to play a right winger on the right wing, so Deulofeu came on at half time. Holgate was playing well, and Deulofeu could have come on in place of one of several players rather than Holgate.

A heat map would make everything clear.

Koeman was furious after the 2-1 loss ended the Toffees' hopes of challenging for a trophy in his first season.

"I know what is needed to change," the 53-year-old Dutchman said. "If everybody opened his eyes maybe we will get further in our improvement - because that is what this team needs."
