But I feel Carlo will play it safe and go with the same system that did so well against Wolves away, a flat back 4 and midfield 4, with James playing in a 10 role behind DCL. He'll play the CBs across the back 4, Gomes and Davies in the middle with Digne playing left mid and Richy right mid. It will be a very solid formation that will likely concede possession stats to Leicester, whilst being very dangerous on the break and from set pieces.
This is what I'm trying to say .. well done for sticking to 11 players .. except Sig for Gomes.. no proof to bring Gomes in from the start when the game is at full throttle.

Yeah Rodgers interview was almost a warning to us.
I don't think you'll find many of us are overly confident. We're in a good run of form at the moment but we're always capable of putting in a dour performance, our home game against you for example.

We're both Jekyll and Hyde teams and both have some key players missing so it really could go either way. We're embarrassingly bad at defending and attacking set pieces so I would expect Carlo to really try and exploit that

Couple seasons ago in the carabao cup they came here and absolutely dominated us in the first half and were winning 2-0 I remember thinking this would be a long game and we could be looking at a drubbing similar to the 6-2 v spurs. We actually ended up mounting a comeback with 90th minute equaliser from Baines with a thunder strike. Lost on pens tho.

Didn't necessarily mean fans, more from the Leicester camp itself. Rodgers was quite bullish in his words, that this game won't have the same outcome as the last.

Apart from getting stuffed by us 8-0 on Wednesday its fair to say its mapping out as another decent season for Leicester.

Got a very good squad and look like you'll be there or thereabouts again.

At least 8-0 preserves our record I suppose

Yeah our first 11 is class, probably similar to yourselves though our squad lacks proper depth to compete with the Man city's etc

Not much of a choice really is it? Gomes or Siggy? You wouldn't play either in a midfield 2 by choice as neither are good out of possession. I actually think Gomes offers a little but more than Siggy, but there isn't much in it either way to be fair.

Play Davies - who will have one role and that is to volley Maddison aots.

If he does that we have a chance of winning

I'm 99.9% confident that Davies wouldn't get near Maddison to volley him enough times to take him out the game. His in game management and awareness of whats around him is dreadful unfortunately.

I hope I'm wrong though and if Tom does get picked he shows a disciplined and mature performance. He's certainly been given enough opportunities ths season and I feel only once has he put in a performance that was acceptable (Sheffield Utd away)
