I don't fear Leicester at all. They are not better than us, about the same really and it will probably be a case of who plays well on the night. If we put a decent performance in then no reason why we cannot come away with all of the points.

Optimism is me. ;)

Carlo will run Brenda through a spaghetti maker, stick him in salted boiling water for 6-8 mins, throw him at the wall to see if he sticks, slowly pick out with tongs and allow some of the starch water to drain into his sauce, sensually mix around, serve with Parmesan and ceremoniously eat with a glass of red wine.

They haven't won a game without Vardy for over a year, he's their equivalent of Richarlison. That said I do think they're ahead of us in terms of squad and knowing their style of play. Big game this one, win and we're in amongst the Champions League possibles, lose and the gap between the top 3 or 4 and us starts to look big.

We've shown all season we can cope without some star players. This is particularly difficult tonight with our only two actual good tackling midfielders out, so it's a very much makeshift central midfield which Leicester will look to take advantage of.

They are very strong in the middle with Ndidi and Maddison, and also have Barnes out wide, so we need to put in a good shift defensively and get the ball out wide and up front ASAP.

No need to try anything creative from anybody in defence apart from Keane with some trademark long passes. No need to play out from the back with our weakened central midfield - that would be asking for trouble.

If Iwobi and Digne play I'm sure it will be in a wingback formation so get the ball out wide to them and get the ball into the box as often as possible.

I'm sure James will be filthily creative as usual, and I see no reason why we can't open Leicester up and punish them.

I wouldn't mind the solid back 4 again then with Digne & Iwobi on the flanks as wingbacks to make a defensive 6. Dom up top with Richy behind but with a freedom to drift left or go central & deeper to help support the lack of a central midfield. James to do what James does in the same bit of pitch James does all his work. Gomes in the centre as a reward for his recent improvement.
I get the feeling we will be pushed back a lot this game but we have shown this season that we tend to be quite efficient with our attacks. We are quite slow playing out the back & dont break lines well but when we do get balls in we always look dangerous. I can easily see something similar to the Sheff Wed game in that when we get the chance to cross we have the quality to produce a good cross & the quality to receive it & stick it home.

if we win tom, we have arrived.
Will not be easy though, since we beat them last month things have changed.

They have the Vardy out, but we have Doucoure out, call that bit a stalemate.
They have Soyunco back, ndidi back in his slot, Perria back.
A lot of money worth there.
must be why the punters have them favourite.

Doucs is a big miss for us. Never been a fan of the Gomes + Davies combo. They'll have to be on job if we're to get anything from this. Know Leicester are in form but so are we. If we score first, we win.

Hence why we should play Godfrey in midfield tonight. Pace, power and aggression.

It’s difficult to think how are gonna compete in the middle as unless he throws Iwobi, Digne or Holgate in unfamiliar central positions. We are faced with 2 out of Davies, Gomes and Sig. When you consider those 3 were dominated by the worst midfields in the league after the first lockdown it’s doesn’t give you confidence that they can compete with Barnes, Maddison and Tieleman. However am trying to look for positives and I thought Davies did very well at Wolves. If he performs the same tonight and just protects the back 4, I have faith Keane and Mina, Godfrey and Holgate can keep them out. Gomes at times has been abysmal but just when I had lost faith completely he come in at wolves competed and won us the game with that cross. Same on Sunday he was so much better than the Rotherham mess and another great assist. Maybe his problem has been fittness all along and he is finally back to the player he looked when he was first signed. We can only hope. I think Sig misses out in this one, he’s just too slow to play against their attacking players in a deep position and James has to be given the free role if we have any chance at all. Sig and Coleman are actually very decent options off the bench.
Imagine if we win though and get a rested Dacoure back on Saturday, we will be right in the thick of it and still have 2 games in hand in most.

Looking forward to this tonight.
Whoever is up against Harvey Barnes and Maddison has to win their individual battle if we do that then we win this game.
Out of all the games I’ve watched recently Leicester have been the most impressive.
