I have said it before and I will say it again, why do we always set up to defend, it doesn't matter who we play or where we play we are always on the back foot, and why do mess about in our own area with the ball. The very least I expect from a professional footballer earning millions of pounds is to be able to pass the ball to our own men. I give up.
They had a chance from kick off - and I would bet that the ball has been in our box within 20 seconds in every game we’ve played this season.

We couldn’t match their intensity and the tempo in which they played; when we attempted it, we couldn’t keep hold of the ball.

There were a fair few opportunities and we were attempting to play creatively, but due to the above so many passes went astray.

Same with Pickford’s woeful distribution. In terms of substitutes, the players didn’t know where they were meant to be playing, let alone the fans.

Awful. Too many seemed yo be going through the motions. And attacking wise I think we have the worst options in the whole league and that's what will cause us to be in a relegation battle

We matched them in terms of effort but fell woefully short in quality in the final third.

That is going to be a theme all season unless we can get one or ideally two good creative or attacking players in January

Tarks and Coady looked totally bewildered at times.... half assed swing and hope clearances, standing there like ones o' Lewis's in the box like tailors dummies.
This is what stood out for me. So many of the issues in the first half were entirely of our own making.
Misplaced passes. bodged clearances. Really frustrating.
Gray looked like he was trying too hard.

Gets a free pass because "he gets us"....

Dont perform then you pay the consequences..... and he isnt performing, its still pretty bad.
Tbh I don't think any manager would do any better.... I mean we've tried nearly everyone else ?....its just rinse and repeat , ... we have three good players the goalkeeper and the 2 centre halves , the rest are really poor , can't pass the ball to each other .... the 4 in the middle for Leicester, fast , agile , technically top class, not afraid to pass forward quickly.... we can only dream of players like that at everton
