Experience and fitness could tell tomorrow. Howard, Neville, Baines, Cahill, Fellaini and Hibbert have FA Cup final pedigree with us. Distin won it with Portsmouth. Gibson has won the Carling Cup twice. And Heitinga has played in a World Cup final. Jelavic has won the Scottish League Cup too. So that really only leaves Gueye/Drenthe for us without similar big game experience.

For them it will be a step into the unknown for Jones and Spearing.

They'll have Johnson, Agger and Bellamy coming back from injury. During the Anfield derby in March Coleman had only played 83 minutes in the Premier League since before Christmas, Jags had 140 minutes gametime in the same period, Rodwell had clocked 44 minutes and Vic had 201 minutes under his belt. Hopefully their rustiness will tell on the wide-open Wembley surface.

some of my RS mates were bigging their chances up based on them beating us twice already. They Shut the **** up when i pointed out one of them was after the Rodwell red card injustice then a gimme when we fielded a weakened team (with a 3-0 scoreline that flattered them). They aren't so confident now. COYB, our centre of felli, gibbo, Johhny and distin will win this for us. Jelvic and Cahill for a 2 or 3 nil win.

I'm going mental over this! This is our biggest chance to give them a good hiding for years, yet the fact that Carragher and Gerrard are in their team put fear in me. Not because of their ability, but because they will get some kind of lucky break from the ref.

A red card to one of those would really make my day!
