Well, so far I'd say our issue is the left side - Baines not getting forward as much (we may want him to be more defensive), but Gueye is not holding up his end of the bargain. With the lead don't expect that to change any time soon though. 60th minute Gueye will come off.

Maybe even sooner than that, he looked gassed already.. As long as McFadden keeps his own seat warm then I'm ok with whatever move we make.

JOB HALF DONE!

Hilarious mix-up by them for the goal, nicely finished by Jela.

LOL Suarez wrestling with the H-Bomb, no chance lad!

CAUTION: We were 1-0 up at h/t in the '86 final....

LET'S FINISH THE JOB OFF THIS TIME...

Everton fans start daring to believe. Hard to exaggerate how magnificent Fellaini has been. Omnipresent like an angry sunflower

To be fair, most of our attacking has been middle or right side. We haven't found Gueye early enough for him to make a difference. He does need to get more involved. Part of that is on him and part of that is on the squad as a whole.

My boy and I absolutely went berserk when Jelavic netted! My boy saw Carroll in the lineup and said look dad, the donkey is playing for the ****e! I had to counsel him on the language, but I was beaming on the inside. 45 minutes away from telling my son he is getting a trip to Wembley for his birthday. Don't care if we stand outside, we will be there!

What better way to enjoy the game than with an electronic pipe?

If we're gonna keep playing this deep and hoofing it, one goal is not enough IMO. We need to start passing it around again like in the 20 odd mins before the goal.

Fair.
