Davek also said:

-We would be in administration by now
-We wouldn't sign anybody after Gibson in the transfer window
-Jelavic isn't worth £2m

So based on recent form, we should win 2-0. Davek IN.

Davek's well and truely popcorned you there hasn't he.

Hats off to him. He laid a few tit grenade IEDs and then waited for the unsuspecting to drive right over them. Namely. You.

Well here we are again: staring into the abyss.

Some of us were warneing well before the QF draw that this was hoving into view and that it'll break hearts.

Kids too young to remember the misery of Wembley defeat against those [Poor language removed] will soon have a taste of it and realise what we've been banging on about. Seeing is believeing I suppose. Dont say you weren't warned. This is what you wanted and now you reap the whirlwind.

We will be cruellly dispatched. Despite the brave words, we all know it. And the news of these ceremonies that's come to light in the past few days just about seals it. Bit part players in Liverpool FCs Big Day Out.

When I was 4 years old, my arl fella sat me on his knee. I was wearing my first Everton (Le Coq Sportif kit) and he said to me, sorry son I cant take you to Wembley your too young yer ma wont let me. I promise to take you next season" he did. We entered the Gwladys, well he sneaked me through the turnstile and I sat on his knee. Then pre game he said the following words "its hard being an Evertonian" and never a truer word said. It is hard however this is a dead cert, nailed on win 32 years today I was born an Evertonian it is happening this weekend the phoenix rises from the flames.

We're going to win. Somebody vault me please.

I still have faith in John Heitinga. He's a different breed to the typical Everton player of the last however many years, I think he can win us the game.

Moyes probably won't play him and it's gonna be about Steven Gerrard again though isn't it for **** sake chico.

When he picked up the ball just outside the 18 yard box against Sland and proceeded to charge up the middle of the pitch with it like a man possessed it was amazing. Then he did the same thing again about 5 minutes later and charged straight back to our goal. The man is a beast.

Gueye , who’s first goal for the club and general performances of late have made me stop noticing that he runs like he’s under water.

That had me creased FairPlay, excellent write up azul.

Great preview mate.

As for the Gueye/Drenthe situation I'm happy with Gueye starting. He's impressed me lately and his goal will have given him confidence, not to mention being given a starting place at Wembley.

Also, Drenthe wouldn't play 90 minutes if he started and would end up getting subbed for Gueye. I don't think Gueye is much of an 'impact' player so I know who I'd rather have coming on when the RS are knackered. Big* Bad Royston.

*Okay, he isn't so big. He is bad though.
