If it was any other team, I wouldn’t look past it being a parody, but we already know how that shower live in absolute cloud-cuckoo land. Nothing is off the table.

After digesting the match properly in the cold light of day. There was only one team on that pitch who was hard done to and it was us. Firstly the rules state that Pickford couldn't be booked or sent off cause its not violent conduct as an offence, ie offside had already taken place. Secondly, Mane was offside, technology proved that and it was questionable whether he should have been on the pitch by then as he could and should have been sent off for a second bookable offence. So it's us who should be up in arms about it. But isn't it great to hear them fume.

One pundit - I forget who - pointed out that the area above the bottom of the sleeve was the part of his body that was offside. Contact with the ball in
that area is now no longer handball following a recent clarification and a resulting goal following such contact would be allowed.

It was only a bee's dikk off, but enough to have the goal disallowed.
