Fabinho wijnaldum, Keita, Henderson.
Likely to start with 3 of those 4 in the midfield, but all likely to feature at some point.
Gana Gomes Davies, Schneiderlin our likely options.
Gomes on his day more than a match. A Gana typical performance is as good as Fabinho. After that we’re struggling a bit. Do we play Schneiderlin in front of the back 4, hoping he doesn’t go missing and hope Gana produces the magic as he did at Cardiff a bit further forward, or do we leave Gana deep and rely on the energy of Davies next to the class of Gomes?

Are we just mentally weak? Or is it Silva. I feel like we crumble once we go behind and in big games are like deer's in headlights. You'd think there is no pressure on us now we are pretty much safe lets just have a go and see?I think half the problem with the derby is our players get too hyped up for it the RS treat it like any other game. Except they still desperately want to win.

What’s Silva got to do with it? Have you been alive the last 30 years?

Not beaten them in 18 attempts and coming up to 10 years since we last beat them, cant see that changing and want to be optimistic but everything points to a defeat. Just hope we dont get embarrassed......

Everything crossed, I would like nothing better than for us to cost them the title.

If you look at Liverpool's attacks.

They have a distinctive pattern: wing back play, ball over the top of defences and narrow set up.

I think we will set up in a 5-2-2-1 with wingbacks counterbalancing Robinson and Arnold. This is crucial because they create 80% of attacks this season.

We need to be aware of the ball over the top which has been they're ideal fast forward ball cutting out the midfield and using the pace of their front 3 so using Jagelka as a sweeper role could be interesting as he reads the play well add Keane and Zouma who have a good understanding.

Midfield battle used to be huge but I think legs and engine in closing down and pressing the space. I think Gueye, Schneiderlin, Bernard and Sigurdsson would plug up the midfield, create, support attacks and importantly move into space in wide areas saving the energy of the solo forward.

Upfront we need height, pace and movement so DCL will move about and hold up play to bring in our wingbacks and midfield forward.

This. We’ve got adequate pace to come off the bench should we need it too.

Inappropriate Language
I’d be starting Tom Davies tomorrow. Not because he’s any better tha the other midfielders but because he can lead by example and show the rest what a derby really means. The lad will leave a foot in when he needs to which is essential in the first 10-15 mins of a derby. The game is going to need one of the following early doors to get Goodison boiling:

Controversial offside goal for them;
Penalty for them;
Red card for us;
Thundercnut lunge on Salad from TD;
[Poor language removed] refereeing in general.

Four of the five are pretty much normal for us in a Derby so TD needs to produce the fifth and boil our slash.

Predicting the team for this one especially after the selection for the Cardiff game is difficult. Marco has stood by Richarlason and Theo and I think he will do tomorrow. I wouldn't be surprised if one of them scored either, especially Richarlason as the world will be watching and he hopefully will be our big game player.

Ok then, an update: my bookie didn’t come up with a price on my proposed bet : Everton to win,2-0 (Eton Dom and Schneids to score )...he said I was being silly

Change it to 2-1, and tell the bookie Robbie Savage and blue61 have predicted the same scoreline, to give it some believability.
