They wont win. Too many out and naturally they will think (not say) they have a CL spot for next season already in their grasp so the 2nd leg will be their focus. If we are to win against them, this is the game. Salah wont play, I think Firmino wont, Can wont, they need to rest a centre back given they've only got two fit ones. I think there will be a lot of changes and we if start on the front foot, we wont lose. (IF is such a big word though)

2-1 home win.

We have to sit back and defend, it's not pretty and Sam will get grief for it but, attack them at your peril, they will destroy us if we go at them.

agree 100%, they absolutley blitz teams in that 1st half an hour ...i cant believe guardiola did the same thing again, liverpool tired so much in the 2nd half but city were off their game/had lost their belief by then

All of them fake ultras me grandad could create a more hostile atmosphere. Balkan style throwing flares and fireworks over yer head. Bring me 10 Croats, 10 Bosnians, 10 Serbs, and 10 Albanians, they would create a hostile atmosphere and take on the whole kop.

Considering the huge disparity in talent, league position, length of time since we last beat them, how frail we are and how the crowd will be bricking it - I hope we at least just boot them all over Goodison.

Our players will see their starting line up - containing the likes of Mignolet, Moreno, Woodburn, Solanke and Ings - and consider a 3:0 defeat an exceptional result before even stepping foot onto the field. Our trio of captains, Williams, Jagielka and Rooney, will successfully ensure we concede fewer than three goals hopefully. Top leadership.

Someone needs to lash a ridiculous challenge in on one of their better players early doors, let them know they're in for a game and could end up missing the City game through injury if they're not careful. I know full well we won't because our players are absolute sh1thouses but we should. We are only going to beat them by playing ugly and dirty.

And probably see Michael Oliver issue a straight red inside ten minutes.

Goodison needs to be bouncing if we are to stand any chance of not being humiliated. I've excepted that we're going to lose but I'd sooner it not be 3, 4 or even 5-0 which it could well be with our gang of cowards. The only way we stand any chance (and it's not much of a chance) is if the zombies in the stands can properly support and rally behind the donkeys on the pitch and create an intimidating atmosphere. I doubt it will be enough to save us from the inevitable defeat but it could well be the difference between humiliation.

I just hope we throw a few tackles in and not just stand off them.
I hope to See a mIdfield 3 of beni, Davies abd gana. And let’s get after them.

I’m waiting to see if firminho gets abd special treatment, because if it was the other way around you know it would happen. Jags & Baines will probably be arguing over who gets his shirt.
