It’s gonna be a bloodbath

Never been this disinterested in the outcome of a derby than I am about this. As articulated by other posters, any victory will be a hollow one. Won't damage their season one iota and will do little for us. We'll probably win this one with zero riding on it and then go another decade or so getting hoofed when it matters. Am so disillusioned I think I'd almost prefer a draw to a win to avoid the sight and sound of that masticating oaf of a "manager" telling all and sundry how "he" beat Liverpool. Roll on the end of this season. Can't come soon enough.

A win here gets the monkey off our back and hopefully starts a run of good form against them next season under hopefully a new manager and better players with something to play for.

Those saying a win is worthless are massively wrong - it just adds and adds to the inferiority complex our players have against them.

Just as long as we don't forget about Hollywood teeth and give him an easy ride. Would sooner beat them next season and dent their probable title bid than this one with nothing riding on it as far as league positions concerned.

Getting beaten either way. Onlyvtwo things I. Our favour, their minds are on Tuesday and it's an early kick off. I will take a draw now. But we are brittle and unambitious

Already getting the "you'll stroll this" attempted head pat texts off the cretins..."we are injury ravaged after our exerts on wed" etc...i havent bitten..ive just reminded them of their own hype&the fact we'll bottle...either way I'll win...I always do even when we dont because im a blue

Correct we need to get a win and end this awful run against them and hopefully that may build confidence and belief that we can beat them in the future

Meaningless game - Doesn't matter if we win or lose

Unless we win and it spurs us into a change of attitude - where we aren't just happy being the second club in a city and can actually become a competitive force

That would of course require a change of almost every employee in the club though

Hey ho

Had a rare football dream last night.

I was sat in work and following the derby on a text service online and 20 minutes in we had a player sent off for something similar to Rodwell the other year

What makes this game worse is the fact they aren't one bit interested in it. They have bigger ambitions.

If we win, they would not be bothered. They would probably congratulate us with that second class citizen treatment. What makes it worse is if we win and we celebrate it they will look on and laugh with a "awwww aren't they cute"

Pickford
Baines
Jags
Keane
Funes Mori
Coleman
Rooney
Gueye
Bolasie
Walcott
Tosun

If Sam hasn't learn that Baines can't be a full back anymore after shoving Bolasie at left back against City then this is a prison date of a game - wide open, non-consenal and gonna hurt.
