Travelling over from dublin on a redeye with my six year old for his first game in GP tomorrow. While he is on cloud nine with excitement (rooney and coleman the two he is most looking forward to seeing), am hoping that (a) neither schneid nor williams feature and (b) we put on a performance. Sad to say that is the height of my very limited expectations even against a likely very weakened RS starting eleven.
Tomorrow is our last meaningful tie the season, having achieved 40 points, so you would hope that those who start will put in a shift that reflects that. Who knows, somehow manage 3 points tomorrow and the next game is also meaningful as an outside chance of Europe next season opens up.

I honestly think we should just play the majority of the kids and the fringe players until the end of the season, there’s nothing to play for and gives the other lads a chance to show what they have. My team for Saturday would be this:
Pickford
Coleman,Holgate,Keane,Baines
Davies, Rooney, banningame
Vlasic, Klaassen, dcl
Tossen
Leave a few older heads in but just go for it, there is literally nothing to loose. we haven’t beat them for ages and if we lose again what difference does it make.
There's deffo one player I'd drop from that line up if we were to have any hope at all.

Really looking forward to this one. Usually difficult at their place but I think they know they are beaten for this one.

We’re playin with scintillating football and tactics. Our young players are going to dominate their carthorses. Their defence is a joke - 3x thirty+ years olds with no ball playing skills nor pace. Their defensive midlfielders havent turned up all season. Boot it long towards the big man and hope for the %ages. Begin with a point and keep it.

Bring it on

Can i have your ticket,untill you're better ?

All I want is for team to play with some passion and pride which hasn' been shown all season :-( Lads like Funes Mori, Besic, Holgate and Mirallas have that but were booted out of club or aren't used by Fat Man :-( Tosun and Naisse together is far better than have a kid cover the 2 slugs in midfield like last time :-( and it' not Davis or Benni job to do the work of Rooney and schneiderlin

Sadly Henderson’s suspension from the second leg means he will probably play. They can still put out virtually the same midfield that they had for the first leg. If they do we just need to stay in the game and wait for them to tire. Klopp might be hoping to just blow us away then ring the substitutes. Their squad is dropping like flies currently, we just need to make it a horrible game for them and force him to run some big players for another 90 minutes.

Your boy's going to be very disappointed by Rooney.
