We really lack a creative influence within the team, without one we are just bashing the ball around not knowing what to do. Baines is doing a fantastic job of showing how past it he is and seriously, if Tom Davies does not learn to keep hold of the ball better then it's back to the under23's imo. The only one looking half decent is Pickford and that's only because Southgate is in the crowd watching, Moshiri/the club have some serious decisions to make over the summer as this bunch are simply just not good enough.

..amazes me that we’re crying out for a ball carrying central midfielder and Vlasic isn’t involved again. When Rooney got it with space in front of him and he played a poor ball into the box epitomised the lack of threat we carry. Our only chance is to get on the end of 2nd balls but we’re not particularly doing that.

We’re not organised enough to cope with their runners, they always have a man in space out wide and we’re lucky they haven’t made the most of it thus far.

Yes. There is to much weight on Davies to be the one to carry forward. Still think we can win this,need to get Walcott on the ball more, and get Niasse on to do the unusual stuff up front, for a top three team, the RS defence is fragile to say the least.

Was thinking that. Aren't they only really missing Firmino, Salah, possibly Can and Lallana if they were fit? And we're missing Gueye and Sigurdsson.

TAA is there starting rb - not a player who hasnt played a year, robertson is their starting lb, not there 4th choice cb, Lovren isnt first choice cb that'd be matip, so yeah it is a second string team we are playing mate.

Only first 11 players they are starting here are Henderson (whose suspended for the cl game), VVD, Karius, Milner/Lovren etc are squad/second choice players normally

They've sent a bunch of truly mediocre players, albeit ones aggressively using TUEs for their chronic asthma. We should be going out there to batter them in the second half. But Allardyce will be waiting for the 80th minute to sub Cenk for Gana and then the 85th to sub Bolasie for Funes Mori.
