Wednesday feels like a defining moment in our recent history for me. I don't think many of us are expecting to beat the other half, but circumstances have driven it into a game that we desperately need points from to ease the worries. We have never left the top league, but we have an ex red in charge of a game that could send us towards the relegation zone, along with the worst FFP situation in the league (it seems) and 500m of wasted investment. Ahhhh, thought it was a Sky game. Can't believe Sky missed the opportunity to have Carragher, Redknapp and Souness all together for some impartial sports presenting. They must be gutted.
