Taking my Grandson to his first FA Cup game, which could be his last at Goodison.
I'm also taking my Grandson. I want him to see as many games as possible at Goodison. (plus his excitement and enthusiasm is infectious. It's like reliving my early matchday experiences through him) I just hope that he eventually gets to see some of the success that I have.

thats great, I hope he has a great time.

I took my 13yo daughter to the Fulham cup game as her first game, we went with my dad so 3 generations of S, she never showed any interest in football but I suggested she come with me to try it out. She loved it, the size of the place, colours, sights, smells, filling her with food. She wanted to go again so we are going to the palace game.

I hope you get the same reaction and pass on to another generation of blue that sees more success than recently

Oh he's a proper fanatic now and has been to probably a dozen or more games.
He's the youngest of my three Grandsons. (All three have been to at least one game, but he's the only one who was chosen by Everton)

….its exactly why I think Dobbin is an option in the Doucoure role. He’ll certainly get alongside and beyond DCL and his pace might cause Luton a few problems. For regular Academy watchers, Dobbin has always been more suited to a central than a wide role.
I’ve not seen enough of Dobbin centrally outside of youth games. He is certainly rapid, full of energy and strikes the ball very well so I can see the logic. Let’s see what the manager goes for

Like many Evertonian Grandfathers I will be indoctrinating my grandson, unfortunately he is too young to bring him over to Goodison but as soon as he is old enough he will be on the plane to Liverpool and hopefully he will see some success brought to Brambley Dock.

I’m going with my lads to the game today, we’ve been to many. But today is the first time that I’m meeting them in the ground. One’s 13 and the other is 17, they want to meet their mates before the game and that. There well versed in the match day ritual now, I can trust them. I think I’ve successfully raised two die hard Evertonians. Which was hard considering the entirety of my family (both sides) are reds with the exception of one cousin, and the fact since they’ve been alive, that lot have won a few pots. So really, congrats to anyway that somehow kept their kids from the dark side recently.

The game itself will be garbage with very few clear cut chances and void of any entertaining footy. Nervy 1-0 to the blues!

The issue last time we played DCL and Beto together was that they made the same runs. This time they will have trained together and they'll be a plan rather than just chucking Beto in and hoping. It'll be interesting to see if it works, as Dyche always played 2 up front at Burnley
because of the lack of goals recently he has to try this and just put crosses in the box. might be the final nail in the cuffin for Danjuma if he again does not start.
Note: yes Dyche played 4-4-2 a long time at Burnley, but his strikers there were a bit more familiar with playing off a main striker i guess like Ashley Barnes and Hendrick. Cant see Beto and DCL having the legs to play tyhe Doucs role.
