So chuffed with a solid team performance, today, with some scintillating bits of magic to ice the cake. I think I can honestly say that's the most joy I've had from a football match since the 95 cup final.

So chuffed for the young lads too, especially the local lad. I asked before the game, did city have any mancs on the pitch? Great to have some home grown talent on the pitch.

I expect the emergence of young Tom will take some of the pressure off Barkley,too. He's already looking better for it.

robles was great, did everything that was asked of him, another clean sheet btw. First half, Baines was getting us out of a few tight spots and moving the ball quickly back to front. That gave us the base to do what we did in the second half. Everyone performed very well, that was like everton of old. Clinical finishing too

Just got home after watching the match and then several very enjoyable beers. What a truly amazing and very unexpected day!! I can finally see RKs plan for the future In the way he wants us to play. Credit to him for the young stars he played and the dedication, commitment and undoubted desire of the whole team today. I am so proud to be an Evertonian. It may not happen overnight but the future is and will be, most definitely BLUE. Coyb.
