just as im getting more and more peeved off with everton they grab you and pull you back in again. what a win, still buzzing. made up for davies and lookman getting on the scoresheet. thought the defence and keeper were excellent. davies definite motm though.

Just had a cheeky peeky at Blue Moon forum.
The Mancs are not a happy bunch ........ Pep's head is well & truly on the block.

For us, it is JUST FANTASTIC to see our young players looking like seasoned pros.

Just got to say really, sometimes Everton nearly break you, and sometimes they nearly make you. Had one of the worst years in my life which ended with going through depression and a debt relief order etc. Things have been getting on track recently and today was the first time this season I've been able to get up to Goodison (Newport-based in Wales.)

Everything about the day perfect. Beyond perfect. Great view considering it was obstructed, perfect atmosphere and perfect result. I don't want to jinx us but I honestly felt today could be historic. Koeman really nailed the tactics and with the youngsters showing up, we really showed what we were about. Direct, honest and hard-working. It's taken a few months but if we keep up that effort, there's no reason we can't see other results similar to today. Perfect send-off for Graham Taylor, perfect show for Bradley, and even Gareth Barry looked supreme.

Got a flu, but that really has cleared me out today. So pleased. Now to win the league.......

Some interesting facts stolen straight off the BBC website.

  • Everton scored with all four of their shots on target.
  • In four of their last seven Premier League games, Manchester City have conceded with the first shot they've faced.
  • Romelu Lukaku has been involved in eight goals in his last nine home Premier League games (five goals, three assists).
  • The first shot of the game came in the 25th minute, the second-longest wait for the opening shot of a Premier League game this season after Watford versus Middlesbrough on January 14th (26th minute).
  • Tom Davies and Ademola Lookman became the 16th and 17th different teenagers to score a Premier League goal for Everton; the joint-most in the competition with Arsenal.
  • Lookman was the first Toffees player to score on their Premier League debut since Samuel Eto'o in August 2014 against Chelsea.
