Always my biggest worry Toff, especially in the second half of our games, we have a tendency to be okay for 10 minutes, then play the rest half sitting too deep.

Yep.

I don't think it's the tactics though, or at least not the majority of the time. It's a mentality issue at times.

Hopefully, with the energy of Schneiderlin and McCarthy on the bench, we've got some natural replacements to help push us up.

That was an enjoyable half to watch. Citeh rarely looked threatening and despite some poor service and bold, if unadvisable, runs by Funes Mori we look solid and as if they actually care to win today. Here's hoping that service gets figured out for the 2nd half.

....couple of little 'lovely to see' points:

- lovely to see big Lukaku carrying young Bradley on the pitch at the start of the game. A very special moment.

- lovely to see Coleman go and shake the hand of Tom Davies immediately the half-time whistle went. I had to rewind to see who it was, proper impressed with that touch of encouragement from the more senior pro.

Funny though.

Davies has given the ball away far more than Ross, yet the reactions have been very much the other way round.

FWIW, I think they both have been very good so far.

It's where they've done it imo.

Davies has done it in the final third, but there's been players to cover most of the time.

Barkley in fairness has been sound as well, but we know his quality, and that's the frustration.

He keeps trying the wrong ball. Just keep it simple - like Davies did for the goal.

Davies also played the killer pass that set Kev in. I think they have both been good for different reasons. Ross has made some questionable passes, but he has done a great job of beating his man and retaining the ball. He has also made some good challenges on the ball which is what he needs to add on his game. He is also competing for headers now which is something he needs to do with his size.
