What was worrying for me was the lack of closing down and pressuring City once we went one down. As said by others, we can't rely on Barkley/ Lukaku to generate everything for us. We had no width whatsoever today. In having to rely on Coleman to get forward as much as possible we looked vulnerable at RB, and LB for me is pretty worrying going forward.

Martinez is going to have to pull more than Mori out of the bag to ensure we survive the next couple of months' worth of games. Getting a consistent amount of energy from the team week in week out would be a start.

To some up my post, each game this season has sent different messages. I haven't got a clue. Move on. Nothing to see here.

One thing I'm quite sure of is Bobby is utterly clueless on how to set up a team at home to win 3 points. Think we've got an awful record at home now of something like only 4 wins out of 20. That's not a blip, that's seriously crap form which shows no signs of changing.

City thoroughly deserved that win today, we were one paced, unbalanced, no shape and we were basically absolutely crap. I can live with getting beat as they deserved the win so it's a case of moving onto the next game against Barnsley and hoping the likes of Besic, Del and Kev get a game

Beaten by a better team. No excuses, the boys gave it everything. We lack quality in the final third.
Naismith coming on instead of Mirallas was puzzling but don't think if would have made a difference.

Obvious what needs fixing. Hopefully we still bring in Yarmolenko and a striker.

City were great today.
The 2 big mistake martinez made was not gettin a proper left back in for bainsey he has had 3 weeks and oviedo has been injured for 2.
Howard made some good saves today but should have stopped both goals.
To be fair though they owned us today

Should have kept Garbutt here.

We had a plan to try and stop city but without coleman we were yet again so toothless going forward

Come on guys, City will walk this league? Because they beat Howard at near post and ripped two of our 20-yo CB's playing out of their position?

They're very good attacking-wise but we could've easily got something off of them if Martinez was a little bit smarter (for the lack of a better word) or if our chances would've converted in goals better (Lukaku's offside, Lukaku's free kick, Barry's header).

Everyone pays good money to go. What I don't pay to do is listen to people like you sit next to me and bemoan everything the manager does without making a constructive criticism at all. If you wanna tell me, in detail, what Martinez consistently done to deserve being called a joke then you can warrant calling him so. If not, then pipe down honey.

Ok I will shall I? He keeps playing Barry and McCarthy in the middle he sticks browning on at left back who was abysmal. He then Subs Kone for Naismith when we are chasing the game and also that keeper of ours I won't say his name but his positional sense is awful. I could go on and on.

Had a certain air of inevitability about it but nothing to be ashamed about, Toothless upfront and Howard whilst making a few saves was beaten too easily twice for my liking. City played well lets move on to the next three points.
