Allez allez allez ohhhhhhhh,
Allez allez allez ohhhhhhhh,
Everton F.CCCCCCCCCCCC,
Stopped the [Poor language removed] winning the leagueeeeeeeee

Thank god that's over, 2 cracking goals and gave a good account of ourselves but I'm not really bothered about losing. Now to watch the snooker and forget about this grim set of circumstances

Hell of a game, and I was convinced there was an equaliser in us even at the death. Shame but no disgrace to lose like that to the league leaders, and well in to the boys playing so hard for pride as 5th was already ours. Lost CL, boo. Also leaky defence, bit of a worry.

This is the defending I just hate to see. We need an established CB who can rotate with Stones. Alcaraz isn't the answer after Distin. I can't believe how we have just given up on CL so easily. Palace, Southampton and now 2 ridiculous goals to City. I just hope we get a point at Hull so we can at least get 70 points.
Same here, 70 would be a great basis to start working on, 60's feels like moyestandard

The boys did well today, they gave it their all and were just unlucky at the end of the day. Some of our 'fans' need to rethink their priorities. Well done to the players on a really good season for us, shame they didn't get the sort of atmosphere they should have in that game.

Decent performance and holds us in good stead for next season. Take into consideration the players we have out......Barry, Peinaar, Distin, Jags (wasn't really at the races today), Mirallass, Kone, Gibson and it shows that our squad is much stronger. Barkley was excellent today for most parts its just that he has a tendency to go missing sometimes. We played a different system today yet we still did well. Thanks Roberto for getting the players to try and play football and for taking the fear factor that was brainwashed into them away for good. Great season
